Timeless, Beautiful Dog Photography

A Timeless Dog Portrait

Timeless Portrait Color Choices

Sometimes, instead of a bright and colorful session. clients want a timeless look. There’s a few things that will help your portraits result in beautiful, timeless pictures.

  • The color choice is probably the most important detail.
    • Instead of something bright and colorful, choose a white, cream, black, or grey. These colors, or lack thereof, will look beautiful hanging in any room and will make your pet the focal point of the image.
  • Request the gallery be edited in black and white
    • A white backdrop with the image edited in black and white will give you a very clean and timeless look. Black and White photography is classic and beautiful, and it makes it difficult to tell when the portrait may have been taken.
  • Minimalist vibes
    • To create a truly timeless image, your pet should not be wearing any accessories or using any props. Props, clothing, bows, bandanas and other items will date your photos years down the road. Stick with your beautiful pup as the main focus.
