Treat Catching Photographs
Treat catching is by far the most requested type of shot I have requested in the studio. These pictures are taken using a technique of freezing action with my studio strobe light. Since I’m able to freeze action so well, these shots come out incredibly sharp and detailed. And the faces dogs make while focusing on treats are amazing!

What if my dog can’t catch?
Sometimes, dogs who come into the studio are not good at catching treats, but they are willing to try.
These shots end up being hilarious most of the time because the dogs are SO bad at catching.

Sometimes dogs aren’t even willing to try to catch the treats. That’s ok too! We can get some great shots of them ducking out of the way or just watching the treats fall.

Other Fun Dog Shots
If your dog ends up looking at me like “Why is this crazy lady throwing things at me?” and gets scared, there’s lots of other fun activities to capture them participating in!
We play with bubbles, toys, balls, and even lick dog-friendly peanut butter for some fun tongue shots!
