Katie was incredible, and driving 50 miles to the studio was absolutely worth it. Our little pup was nervous at first, but Katie was extremely patient and gave him time to settle in. The photos turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Might come back for holiday photos with our pup 🙂 Couldn’t recommend Katie more!
“I love working with Katie! She’s so professional and communicative. She’s clearly an expert in her field and enjoys what she does. She did my standard poodle’s birthday photoshoot to commemorate his 1 year, and was so awesome that we scheduled a second shoot for his “gotcha day”/to commemorate him passing his service dog test. I was even able to get in some of the second photos. Though I brought props for both shoots, she already had plenty of her own, along with so many treats for any pup to choose from! I was very impressed with how comfortable she made my dog feel and how we started to wind things down once he was clearly over it. She’s so awesome! It’s a great price for some really quality photos that I will have forever, and a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning and have already told a few friends about her who had photoshoots that were equally as awesome!”
Katie makes photo shoots so much fun for the pups! She is very patient, fun and engaging with the pups. Onya loves going to have her photos done! Very reasonably priced as well! Excited to take Onya back as an adult with her mama Enya for more photos!
We have brought our dogs to Katie for two photo shoots and I remember being so nervous the first time because the younger pup is very anxious with new people and the older one is TOO social and loves jumping. I had nothing to worry about because Katie was so prepared with TONS of treats and unlimited patience. Our photos came out even better than expected! We have some framed around the house and guests always comment on how great they are. We definitely plan to go back for more future pics- definitely worth the 1 hour drive for us.
Katie was absolutely incredible and full of creative tricks! She had endless treats and made fun noises to grab the dogs’ attention. One of my dogs is usually very nervous and anxious around new people, but he warmed up to her so quickly. I could tell he felt completely safe and comfortable with her. The photos came out so crisp and high-quality! I’m beyond thrilled that she was able to capture my dogs just as they are now, in great health, so I can treasure these memories furever!

I booked a Holiday mini session with Katie, which was amazing! I was worried that my nervous, shy boy wouldn’t cooperate, but within minutes he warmed up and came out of his shell. Katie was absolutely wonderful and knew exactly what to do. Endless treats, giggles and some adorable pics! I am extremely happy with the way the photos came out – and super quick (even with the holiday)!
Katie is great! She was able to accommodate a last minute request for my senior girl right before she passed and got wonderful photos that really captured my girl even though she was definitely not feeling like herself. She’s since photographed my other dogs and is able to accommodate ALL types of dogs. She made my wriggly uncooperative puppy look like a pro model and convinced my nervous girl that the flash isn’t that scary.
We recently got pictures of our bloodhound for his second birthday with Katie. Katie and her assistant did an amazing job working with our dog for some fantastic photos. They were very engaging and they captured pictures and behind-the-scenes videos, which was awesome. They had fun toys and bubbles to make the photo shoot even more engaging. To top it all off, Katie even got a good group photo of my husband, daughter and I and our dog. Katie was super easy to work with and super kind to our family. She got our pictures back to us super fast. I definitely recommend going to her for your next batch of photos!
Best decision I’ve made was to book a photo shoot here! I brought both of my dogs to the studio to get pictures of them together and individually. One of my dogs is fearful and I was worried about how he would do. Katie was amazing from start to finish. Not only did my fearful dog warm up to her, it was obvious he thought the whole experience was a great time! She used treats, balls and bubbles to entertain him and even better were the pictures that resulted. They are magical! They make me happy when I look at them on my walls. I’m obsessed with both her action and posed shots. It was truly an incredible and magical experience. We will be back next year! Katie took photos of both my dogs in her home. One dog is goofy and tough to keep still and the other dog is very shy and challenging to get to come out of her shell. Katie mastered both dogs masterfully and captured their personalities in photographs that I will cherish long after they are both gone. Priceless memories.
Katie has great talent and an excellent artful eye for taking photos of animals. When our senior Old English Sheepdog was nearing the end of her life, I reached out to Katie and Paws-In Studio to have photographs taken of our pretty girl, Callie, who had severe arthritis. Katie took her time, worked with Callie at her pace and on her level and the photographs were excellent! We bought all the photos because they were all perfect!
I had a fantastic experience with Katie! She took my senior dogs photos last winter when she was diagnosed with cancer. I love the pictures, they turned out great. My girl has since passed but I cherish these photos and have them printed out in frames throughout my home. I highly recommend using Paws-In Studio for your pet photographs!
Katie is extremely patient and allowed Piper to become comfortable in the studio. She creates a very relaxed and fun environment so the dogs can naturally be dogs. We had so much fun and it comes through in the pictures. Highly recommend.
